Clinic Terms
Please see below for our terms of service. These apply to all clients who book an appointment or receive any service at Laneway Skin Clinic, or who purchase items through our website.
CONFIRMATION OF APPOINTMENT
An SMS confirmation will be sent 48 hours prior to your appointment.
We ask that you respond to this SMS upon receipt by replying Yes or No.
If we do not receive a response, we reserve the right to release the appointment.
BOOKING FEE POLICY
All appointments at Laneway Skin require an $80 reservation fee to secure your booking.
If you have purchased a treatment package or are on a Skin Journey, a reservation fee is not required.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
Every person’s time is valuable and we do our utmost to respect our clients’ time.
To allow us to provide a high level of care and service, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
Non-attendance or late cancellation means the allocated time cannot be offered to another client. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or no shows, will incur a fee. If a reservation fee has been paid, this will be forfeited.
For clients holding a treatment package, a reservation fee is not required. However, a late cancellation or no show will result in one full treatment being deducted from the package to account for the lost appointment time.
If you arrive late to your appointment, your treatment time may be reduced to ensure we remain on schedule for other clients. In some cases, where a treatment cannot be safely or effectively performed due to late arrival, the appointment may be forfeited and treated as a late cancellation.
We understand that illness, emergencies and unexpected work commitments can occur. In these circumstances, we ask that clients notify us as soon as possible. Any exemptions to this policy are at the discretion of management.
SPECIALS, DISCOUNTS AND PRICING
Pricing is reviewed regularly and is provided as a guide only. Final pricing and treatment recommendations will be confirmed during consultation with your Skin Specialist.
All specials and discounts are subject to specific terms and conditions and may change without notice.
As every skin journey is unique, not all specials or discounted treatments may be suitable for every client. Suitability will be discussed during consultation, and treatments are performed at the discretion of the Skin Specialist.
EXPIRY POLICY
All packages purchased have a 12 month expiry from the date of purchase.
All gift certificates have a 3 year expiry from the date of purchase.
REFUNDS & TRANSFER POLICY
All treatments, packages and services are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. This includes partially used packages or services that have commenced.
TREATMENT SUITABILITY & RESULTS
Individual results vary depending on skin health, lifestyle factors, consistency and adherence to professional advice. While we use evidence-based treatments and products, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
All treatments are performed following consultation and professional assessment, and Laneway Skin reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment if it is deemed unsuitable at any time
Skin Journey Terms

INITIAL COMMITMENTS PERIOD
All memberships have a minimum initial commitment period of three months. During this period, memberships cannot be cancelled.
If a membership is cancelled within the initial three-month commitment period, the remaining balance of the full three months’ membership fees will be payable.
Any amounts owing for treatments, services or benefits redeemed must be paid in full to bring the account up to date before a cancellation can be finalised.
After the initial commitment period has been completed, memberships may be cancelled by providing a minimum of 30 days’ written notice via email to info@lanewayskin.com.au
COOLING OFF PERIOD
A seven-day cooling off period applies from the date of joining a membership.
If you change your mind within this period and have not used any services, treatments, discounts or member benefits, any payments made will be refunded in full.
If any membership perks have been accessed during the cooling off period, including member pricing or discounts, the value of those benefits may be deducted from any refund issued.
If any treatments or services have been redeemed, the membership may only be cancelled outside of the initial commitment period and will take effect from the following billing cycle.
BANKED TREATMENTS AND ROLL-OVERS
Included treatments or services must be used within the allocated monthly period. Any unused treatments or services will automatically expire at the end of the month and do not carry over unless prior approval has been granted by Laneway Skin Clinic.
Members may choose to share one treatment with a friend for a single month, subject to approval, at a cost of $20.
Any unused treatments, services or banked credits will be forfeited upon cancellation of a membership at the end of the notice period.
TREATMENT BOOKINGS, RESCHEDULES, CANCELLATIONS & AND NO-SHOW POLICY
Laneway Skin’s standard booking and cancellation policy applies to all membership treatments.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked treatment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a rebooking fee being applied.
Failure to attend a booked treatment, or cancellation within the 24-hour window, will result in the forfeiture of that treatment credit for the applicable period.
FEES
A $9.90 sign up fee is applied on first payment. Every Transaction will be charged a 3.6% Transaction fee. $9.9 dishonour fee is applying if there are insufficient available funds to make the scheduled payment. We will attempt to make the scheduled payment the next business days.
